The revitalized St. Lawrence Centre for the Arts will deliver five important benefits for the cultural sector and neighbourhood:

Designs will improve energy efficiency and reduce the carbon footprint. New technologies will be introduced to make the new STLC ready for the 21st century. The new STLC will meet the demands of a changing city.

An accessible and open building that will ensure that an easy-to-visit and welcoming experience for everyone is at the heart of the new design.

Benefit 3 Circle

A cultural ecosystem where renewed cultural, innovative spaces and gathering places will anchor the STLC as a cultural and civic hub along the important Front Street cultural corridor.

Affordable access to updated, multi-purpose spaces for the performing arts sector, the local neighbourhood, and all Toronto communities.

A place to present and support the next generation of creatives and bring economic benefits to Toronto.
